SR Judo Club took four players to one of the biggest events on the Judo calendar this weekend, the BJC Nationals in Kettering this weekend and returned with 3 medals.
First of the day to take the mat was Fabian Crowie-McGrath. He battled hard in the boys primary under 27kg category and fought his way to the silver medal, just missing out in the final.
Next up was Eliza Seditas, competing in In the girls primary grades under 28kg, she fought very well against some tough opponents and was very unlucky not to take home a medal.
In the junior girls, Ruby Gimson fighting in the under 48kg, took a well earned silver medal, displaying some impressive judo along the way to the final. Poppy Murphy, fighting in her first ever Nationals, put in a great performance to take a gold medal and the National title in the junior girls over 57kg.
